Her name is Rio

… and she dances on the sand.

Aloha!

Really—I’m not a Duran Duran fan. But the song “Rio” came on the radio just as terrific, Tom Davis from Wells & Company Tattoo fired up his machines to put this black-haired, beauty on my arm. So call it a sign or whatever you like—the name seems to have stuck.

As always, many thanks to Tom Davis and @WellsCoTattoo for this excellent new piece of artwork. The bright vibrant colors enhance the wonderful line work and soft details in her hands, feet and facial features. Positioned to compliment my existing tiki, the new hula girl jives with the other pieces on my arm and has quickly become one of my favorite tattoos to-date.

If you’re looking for a nice piece of ink… a good place to start your search is with Tom and Wells & Company Tattoos.
